Bowl lotus, belongs to the lotus family lotus, is the evolution of the miniature varieties from the lotus, also known as bowl lotus, pot lotus. It is often autochthonous or cultivated in the water and wet environment, the soil requirements are not strict, as long as the texture of loose, no impurities, no toxic substances contaminated soil can be.
🌸Growth habit
- Light: sun-loving and intolerant of shade, sufficient light is conducive to growth and development, growing in the semi-shade, leaves, buds, flowers and green lotus seedpods have obvious phototropism. Temperature: heat-loving, vigorous growth, the flower receptacle expands to form lotus seedpods.
- Temperature: heat-loving, vigorous growth period of July-September, the appropriate temperature for growth of 23-30 ℃, the temperature below 15 ℃ growth stagnation.
- Moisture: like wet and afraid of drying, like relatively stable static water, clean water, pH value of 6.2 or so is more appropriate.
- Soil: Not strict on soil requirements, like rich humus of fertile clay, such as river mud, garden soil, sandy soil.
